The most noticeable change is in those seated at the judges’ table. Julianne Hough is no longer a judge, deciding to pursue other interests, but beloved head judge, Len Goodman, is returning after a season’s absence. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli will also be back this season, beginning 8-10 p.m. Monday, March 21, on ABC. Season 22’s lineup of celebs includes athletes, actors, singers, models and even one or more with a connection to the current election season. The celebs cover a wide range of ages but there are none this season in the teenage category. Fan favorite Derek Hough is exchanging the ballroom for the Broadway stage where he will star in “Singing in the Rain,” and pro Allison Holker is on maternity leave. Also missing are Anna Trebunskaya, Louis Van Amstel and Emma Slater, but four familiar faces from previous seasons — Edyta Sliwinska, Peta Murgatroyd, Artem Chigvintsev and Sasha Farber — will be partnering celebs.
